Chandigarh, April 10:
The Government agencies have procured 2642 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on day one of precourment.
Disclosing this here today, food and civil supplies minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that at Procurement centers the Government agencies procured 2642 MT wheat .
He further said that PUNGRAIN has procured 652 metric tonnes, MARKFED 442 tonnes and PUNSUP procured 818 tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation procured 180 MT wheat .
The Centre government agency FCI has procured 10 MT wheat.Apart from this Pungrain 540 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.
