382239.381 MT Paddy Procured on 16th day: Ashu

The Government procurement agencies have procured 381464.381 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 16th day of procurement of this Kharif Season.

Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 3669972.511 MT and 27549 MT paddy procured by private Millers.

He said that 381443.035 MT paddy has been arrived in mandis of state today and so far a total of 3847343.486 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state out of which 3697521.511 metric tonnes of paddy has been Precoured.

Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 4418.09 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
