The Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been working diligently to provide the top-class education to the students of the government schools across the state. Under this initiative, the Education Department has orangized ‘Mother Workshop’ at 12851 government primary schools on Saturday.
Giving information in this regard, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that this program ‘Mother Workshop’ was organised for students from pre-primary to second class and their mothers. Under this, mothers were given expounded about the education, learning materials and techniques provided by the teacher to the students of the school.
He said that around 5 lakh mothers have participated in the ‘Mother Workshop’ in schools.
Mr Bains said that the school education department is making assiduous efforts to increase the involvement of parents of students studying in government schools.
