Under the leadership of Punjab Education Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla, for creating a sense of competition among the schools for improving the performance of education, 66 government schools across the state have been awarded for being the best schools in the state.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that out of 22 districts of the state, three schools in each district have been awarded for being the best school. These include one middle, one high and one senior secondary school in each district. The award includes Rs 90,909 to each middle school, Rs 1,36,363 to the high school and Rs 2,27,272 to the senior secondary school.
These schools includes are GMS Rottoke, GHS Chotian, GSSS Khanori (Girls) of Sangrur district , GMS Kular, GHS Babarpur, GSSS Karamsar of Ludhiana, GMS Bhangal Khurd Amargarh, GHS Khan Khanna (Girls), GSSS Bharta kalan of SBS Nagar, GMS Chachu Majra, GHS Jainti Mairi, GSSS Gharruan Girls of SAS Nagar, GMS Dhani Karnail Singh SSA, GHS Hira Wali (RMSA), GSSS Kandhwala Amarkot of Fazilka, GMS Veere Wala Khurd, GHS Madhak, GSSS Pakhi Kalan of Faridkot, GMS Chohat, GHS Bhanra upgrade (RMSA), GSSS G Manakpur of Patiala, GMS Bhanupli, GHS Bhauwal, GSSS DhanGrali of Roopnagar, GMS Badala, GHS Kishanpur, GSSS Nehru Garden G of Jalandhar, GMS Kokri Vehniwal, GHS Patto Hira Singh ji, GSSS G Ghall Kalan of Moga.
