Chandigarh, 28 October:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 693761.54 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 28 October,2021 in this Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 9395999.15 MT and 46517 MT paddy procured by private Millers.
He said that a total of 9686263.31 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state so far and out of which 9442516.15 metric tonnes of paddy has been Procured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 14647.68 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
