69743 MT Wheat Procured on 31st day

Chandigarh,  May 10:

The Government agencies  have procured 69743 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on 31st day of procurement.

Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said  that out of the total 69743 procurement from various procurement centres in the State, He further said that PUNGRAIN has procured 22645.09 metric tonnes, MARKFED 13046.30 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured  16683.25 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 7081.20 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 6472 MT wheat. Apart from this Pungrain Procured 3815.6 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.

Progressive procurement by all the procuring agency is 12939423.34 MT.
