737176 MT Wheat Procured on seventh day

The Government agencies and have procured 737176 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on seventh day of precourment.

Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said that out of the total 737176 MT procurement from various procurement centres in the State PUNGRAIN has procured 215399 metric tonnes, MARKFED 158854 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured 158305 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 109612 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 47514 MT wheat.Apart from this Pungrain Procured 47492 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.

Progressive procurement by all the procuring agency is 2561486MT.
