75th Independence Day – Essay, painting and declamation contests commences in schools

In the connection of 75th Independence Day of India, the essay, painting and declamation contests are started today in all the government schools of the state.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab school education department said that 75th Independence Day has to be celebrated on 15th August 2022 next year. In this regard the department has issued instructions to conduct essay, painting and declamation contests in the schools. These activities are initiated today in across the state. These competitions have been launched 75 weeks before the 75th Independence Day of India under the theme ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’.

According to the spokesperson, the students are enthusiastically participating in these competitions being organized on the events related to the freedom struggle and the contribution of patriots. These competitions are being conducted during the periods of the respective classes as per the schedule of the schools. Sixth, seventh, ninth and eleventh grade students are being made more active than the students of board classes. Students are also being provided information about the events of the freedom struggle during the morning assembly.
