Chandigarh/Sangrur, March 24: The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday announced the names of its 3 candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2019. AAP announces 3 candidates. The decision was taken during the meeting of state core committee held under the leadership of state chief Bhagwant Mann and core committee head principal Budhram at Sangrur.
The AAP will contest the Lok Sabha poll in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and has fielded three candidates in each of the states, senior leader Sanjay Singh said Sunday.
In a press statement, chairman of Punjab core committee Principal Budhram said the party has decided to field Justice Jora Singh from Jalandhar, Bajlinder Singh Chaunda from Fatehgarh Sahib and Peter Masih Cheeda from Gurdaspur.
Baljinder Singh Chaunda has been working in the party from 2014. He is presently serving as the vice president of state SC wing. He comes from a family of freedom fighters; his grandfather participated in ‘Dharam Sudhar Andolan’.

Justice Jora Singh worked on different position in the field of judiciary in the state. He retired as judge from Punjab and Haryana High Court. He was appointed chairman of the commission to investigate cases of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Behbal Kalan firing incident. He joined Aam Aadmi Party in 2018.
Peter Cheenda is working as the halqa incharge of Fatehgarh Churian of Aam Aadmi Party. He has been working in the field of education for long time.
AAP has already announced candidature of Bhagwant Mann from Sangrur, Prof. Sadhu Singh from Faridkot, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal from Amritsar, Dr. Ravjot Singh from Hoshiarpur and Narinder Singh Shergill from Sri Anandpur Sahib.

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will contest the Lok Sabha poll in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and has fielded three candidates in each of the states, senior leader Sanjay Singh said Sunday.
AAP announces 3 candidates in Uttar Pradesh, the AAP has fielded Yogesh Dahiya from Saharanpur, Satish Chandra Sharma from Aligarh and Shweta Sharma from Gautam Budh Nagar.
The party is likely to contest the Lok Sabha poll from 25 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
For rest of the seats, the process to select candidates is in the final stage, Singh said.
In Bihar, Aleemuddin Ansari has been fielded from Kishanganj, Raghunath Kumar from Sitamarhi and Satyendra Kumar from Bhagalpur.
