AAP MLA lays stone of washroom in girls’ school

Date:

Sangrur, March 9: Sunam MLA Aman Arora today laid the foundation stone of a washroom at Government Primary School for Girls, Dhadrian village, Sunam.

The Aam Aadmi Party legislator said it was disheartening to see that even after decades of independence, schools in the state were deprived of necessary facilities like washrooms.

He said during a meeting with some NRI families a few months back, he urged them to help build washrooms in the girls’ schools. The NRIs immediately agreed to provide financial help for the cause and the foundation of the first project was laid at Dhadrian village, said Arora, who is also the state co-president of the AAP.
