AAP MP Raghav Chadha calls on President Droupadi Murmu

Chandigarh, September 3: Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha called on President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and discussed Punjab related issues.

This was the first courtesy call of MP Raghav Chadha to President Murmu after she occupied the highest constitutional post in the country.

AAP MP presented a replica of the Golden Temple to President Murmu and greeted her on behalf of the people of the Punjab.

During the meeting, the MP discussed various development and public welfare issues of the state including issues related to weaker sections of the society with the President.

“Honoured to meet and extend my best wishes to the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji in New Delhi today,” MP Raghav Chadha said in a tweet.

Murmu was sworn in as the 15th President of India on July 25.
