About 15 lakh people gave their opinion about AAP’s CM face

In the 72 hours since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) issued a number ‘70748 70748’ to know the opinion of the people of Punjab about who should be AAP’s CM face for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state, around 15 lakh people have voiced their opinions. Informing the reporters about the same Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema said that in the last 72 hours, 7 lakh people called, 5.5 people voted for their choice via WhatsApp and 1.5 lakh people left a voice message and the same number of people sent a text message to give their opinion.

On this overwhelming response that AAP has gotten from the people of Punjab, Harpal Singh Cheema said that the enthusiasm that people have shown to choose CM for Aam Aadmi Party is a testament that this time they’ll most definitely form the AAP government and that too with clear majority. He said that people will wipe out the traditional political parties to form an honest government in Punjab. He added that people want change as they are tired of corruption and loot carried out by traditional political parties.

Cheema appealed to the people, “To strengthen the democracy of Punjab and the country, give your opinion on the number issued by AAP in maximum numbers and choose your own Chief Minister and be a part of the to be formed Aam Aadmi Party government in the state.” He concluded that after gathering all the data, the party will announce the chief minister’s face as per the public opinion.
