Absence of Sukhpal Khaira, Raja Warring during voting very unfortunate: AAP

Date:

Chandigarh, April 1

Aam Aadmi Party condemned the absence of Congress MLAs during the voting for resolution about the issue of Chandigarh today. In a statement issued from the party headquarters it is said that the absence of Congress MLAs specially, Sukhpal Singh Khaira and Amarinder Singh Raja Warring during the voting, to pass the resolution about giving Chandigarh to Punjab, is shocking and saddening. It states that both the Congress leaders are known for their big words but ut turned out that’s all they are just loquacious because when it actually came to stand by Punjab, its people and their rights, both were absent. AAP Punjab criticised their absence and said that it is time when all political parties of Punjab come together to defend the right of our state. But it seems that Congress and their loquacious leaders can’t see beyond their petty politics.
