Akalis ask Jaitley, Delhi police to take action

New Delhi, Feb 9: Three separate delegations of the SAD met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley; CBI Director Alok Verma and Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik, demanding the arrest of Jagdish Tytler. SAD MPs Prem Singh Chandumajra and BS Bhunder accompanied the delegation that met the Police Commissioner.

A delegation, led by Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, apprised the Finance Minister of the “sting operation” against Tytler. The Minister assured the delegation of quick action. DSGMC chief Manjit Singh GK submitted the video clips and other evidence to the CBI Director.

In Barnala, SAD chief Sukhbir Badal said his party would further intensify the efforts for the immediate arrest of Tytler. “We will meet the Union Home Minister again in the coming days,” he said. TNS
