All India Civil Services Tournament – Trials for Football, Chess and Cricket on March 2

The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is organizing All India Civil Services tournament in Football (Men’s), Chess (Men’s/Women’s) and Cricket (Men’s) category from March 10 to March 15, 2022 at different places across the country.

Disclosing this, the Director, Sports, Punjab Mr. Parminder Pal Singh said that the trials for selecting Punjab Football Men’s team would be held at Government Senior Secondary Phase 3B1 S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, Cricket Men’s at practice ground PCA stadium, Sector-63, Mohali, and Chess (Men’s and Women’s) at Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana on March 2 at 10 AM.

Divulging further, the Director said that interested players in case they are regular Government employees can participate after obtaining NOC from their respective departments. The players have to bear the expenses of travelling, boarding and lodging themselves.

It must be pointed out that the Football Football (Men’s) as well as the Chess (Men’s/Women’s) matches would be held at Chhatrasal stadium in New Delhi while Cricket (Men’s) events would be organized at Bharat Nagar Sports Complex and Vinay Marg Sports Complex, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
