CHANDIGARH, MAY 18: Punjab Industries & Commerce Minister Sunder Sham Arora has urged chairpersons of various industrial boards and corporations to work for setting up and revival of industry hit hard by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
During a meeting with them here at Udyog Bhawan, Arora said alongwith other sectors industry had also been critically impacted by the ongoing Corona situation. Aggressive measures need to be taken to get out of this, he said asking them to play important role towards this aim.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for leading state’s response in firm and well thought way in the battle against the pandemic. He also thanked people of Punjab for their unstinted cooperation and assistance during lockdown and curfew.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan, Director Cibin C, Chairperson PSIDC Krishan Kumar Bawa, Chairperson PLIDB Pawan Dewan, Chairperson PSICC Gurpreet Singh Bassi, Chairperson PMIDB Amarjit Singh Tikka, Chairperson PICTC MMS Sandhu, and Chairperson Punjab Khadi Board Mamta Dutta.
