Asees Kaur fills the sombre title track of Piya Re with soul

Date:

The title track of Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s upcoming film Piya Re is a soulful composition by Jeet Ganguly. Punjabi singer Asees Kaur has lent her voice to the deep and sombre number.

Kaur’s deep and husky voice suits the mood of the song perfectly. It echoes the emptiness of Riya’s heart to a great extent.

The romantic drama features Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee as the lead pair.

Piya Re is a passionate love story between Rabi and Riya who get estranged due to some unfortunate occurrences. Whether Rabi finally manages to rescue Riya from her situation and reunites with her will be clear once the film is released.
