Ashu asks Badal, why he is not appearing before SIT and making lame excuses

Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhutan Ashu today asked the former Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal that why he was not appearing before SIT probing Kotakpura firing incident and making lame excuses.

In a statement issued here today, the Minister said that the manner in which Mr. Badal had talked to BSP Supremo Mayawati for congratulating her on day of forging the alliance reflected that health that healthwise he was totally fit and fine. However, Mr. Badal said that not appearing before the SIT on pretext of poor health reflects that he was shying away from joining the probe.

The Minister dared former Chief Minister that instead of avoiding to joining the investigation, he should face the probe so that entire Punjab is able to know the truth about this dastardly act.

The Minister said that the law will take its own course in this case and the perpetrators of this heinous crime will be brought to book.

He further said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is fully committed for ensuring justice in the case and no stone will be left unturned to nailing the culprits behind this heinous incident.
