New Delhi, June 11: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has admitted to All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), sources said on Monday.
Vajpayee, one of India’s most revered prime ministers and BJP’s tallest leader, is 93. ANI reported that he was admitted to AIIMS for routine check-up.
“Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s condition is stable and a team of doctors under the supervision of Dr Randeep Guleria, Director AIIMS are conducting tests,” AIIMS said in a statement.
