Chandigarh, September 9:
Amid the presence of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak, Mr. Baldev Singh today assumed charge as the Chairman PUNGRAIN at the Anaj Bhawan in Sector 39. The new incumbent while expressing gratitude to the AAP Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann and Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak, assured that he would live up to the faith reposed in him.
Interacting with the media persons on the occasion, the Minister said that the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to the people at the time of elections that the honest leaders having a progressive vision would be encouraged in Punjab and the appointment of Mr. Baldev Singh as the Chairman of PUNGRAIN is step in that direction. The Minister also said that the guarantees promised during the polls are in the process of being fulfilled by the State Government. The Punjab Government would always adhere to the ideology of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and would create a corruption free Punjab.
