Chandigarh, February 12: The services of Tehsildar Bhikhiwind has been placed under suspension with immediate effect as he was absent during election duty.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the State Election Commission said that Lakhwinder Singh, Tehsildar of Bhikhiwind in Tarn Taran district was deliberately remained absent from the work of municipal elections due to which he had been suspended with immediate effect.
