Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) says BJP’ claims of not paying government employees’ salaries in Punjab are a blatant falsehood.
AAP’s rising popularity has unnerved the BJP and now they are making baseless allegations to defame AAP government.
While addressing a press conference on Wednesday, AAP leader and MLA Dinesh Chadha said that their (AAP) government is not only paying salaries of the government employees but Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government is also regulating the temporary and contractual based workers in the state. AAP leader in his media address, along with party spokesperson Advocate Ravinder Singh, claimed that in the last 6 months AAP government has given 17000 new jobs and regulated 9000 temporary employees.
He said that the claims like Punjab government is not paying salaries is total nonsense because the salaries of class C and D has been credited already and the rest was cleared today. “But I want to ask BJP, who formed governments in UP, Uttarakhand and Goa in March, how many jobs their governments have created or regulated since then,” questioned Chadha.
He added, “We deposited Rs. 5000 crores in Sinking Fund also that substantiates Punjab’s improving financial conditions. CM Bhagwant Mann led AAP government is fully committed to ameliorate our state’s financial status and we are working towards it fiercely.”
Dinesh Chadha said that since the formation of AAP government in Punjab, we have waived old electricity bills and are giving 300 units per month free electricity, we are reforming public health and education system of the state, Aam Aadmi clinics are serving thousands of patients daily, Ration’s door step delivery scheme is round the corner, and many more pro-people decisions has been taken.
He asked BJP about jobs and their state governments’ contribution in Sinking fund. He said that BJP terms facilitating common people with their tax money as ‘Free Revdi’ but their governments in UP, Uttarakhand, Goa, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh have done nothing for the people except keep on mounting debt in their respective state.
He said that BJP only spend tax money on buying MLAs and for toppling governments but seeing AAP government’s public welfare works first in Delhi and now in Punjab, the people of other states also want Aam Aadmi Party government. BJP is unable to digest this popularity of AAP and our national convener Arvind Kejriwal, hence their lying and new propaganda against us every day. But, our people will see right through their white lies and will only support a political party that’s working for their upliftment.
