BJP ‘political shark’, major threat to Punjab, country and democracy: Bhagwant Mann

Date:

Chandigarh, 29 December: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab President and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann termed the alliance between former Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, SAD (United) President Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as political opportunism. He said that the people’s court would show to these opportunists in practice that no matter how many zeros are added, the sum will remain zero.

In a statement issued from the party headquarters on Wednesday, Bhagwant Mann quoted the teachings of the Holy Gita, “Whatever’s happening, it is good and what’ll happen, that would be good too; because, people are watching closely, the masks coming down every day very. As a result, seeing these political opportunists, people are sure that this time past mistakes will not be repeated and a chance will be given by them to Aam Aadmi Party.

Bhagwant Mann lashed out at the BJP, Captain and Dhindsa group, saying, “Now that your old nefarious alliance has come to light, add the Badal zero to your zeros too, but the result will still be zero.”

Mann asked Capt. Amarinder Singh to tell the people of Punjab why they should give him a single vote. On the contrary, the people of Punjab are ready to ask why the captain did not come out of his royal farmhouse for four and a half years in the wake of the overwhelming edict issued by the people in 2017.

According to Mann, Capt. Amarinder Singh does not even have the status to show his face to people let alone asking for votes.

Targeting Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and his ally Akali Dal, Bhagwant Mann said, “People are surprised at the photos of Captain and Dhidsa with Amit Shah in the newspapers, because they remember the ‘Padma Shri’ specially gifted by the Modi government to Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.

Rather, the discussions have been revived that Sardar Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa may get a Waziri (ministry) at the Center instead of the Badals, as the BJP, through Dhindsa & Party, is also diabolically trying to gain direct control over Panthic politics and Panthic institutions.

Although the farmers’ movement had put a brief pause on these discussions, now that the way has been cleared, this nefarious and self-serving alliance has come to the fore. But the inscription (writing) on the wall of the future is clear that the BJP and the Captain’s alliance will wipe off the Dhindsa family and the United Akali Dal of the political map of Punjab forever.

That is why the United Akali Dal is rapidly disappearing. He said that Dhindsa family and leaders would also have to answer for what compulsions and political appetites they have that they were sitting in the lap of BJP which was being termed as enemy class of Punjab and Panth during the farmers’ agitation.

Describing the BJP as a political shark, the state president said that today the BJP has become the biggest threat to the country’s constitution, democracy and brotherhood as well as political values.

But fortunately the people of Punjab have always been on the lookout for the BJP’s deadly regime and will be even more vigilant in the future, as power-hungry and corruption-ridden ‘Punjab’s Dogras’ are riding the BJP’s deadly chariots and their real faces are exposed.

Mann appealed to the people of Punjab that Congress, Captain, Badal and their A, B, C teams, which are rising like mushrooms in the face of elections, could not improve the future of Punjab and Punjabis in the next 100 years.

He added that people will definitely give a chance to Arvind Kejriwal’s development model this time without repeating the mistakes of last time.
