BJP President Vijay Sampla apologizes for road blocks

Date:

Fatehgarh Sahib, Dec 13: It is unfortunate that during the dharnas by SAD-BJP workers against the “highhandedness” of the Congress government, the commuters have to face inconvenience, said Vijay Sampla, state BJP president, while interacting with the media at Amloh today.

Apologising for hassles to the public, he said the protests were necessitated “to save the democracy and expose the misdeeds of the government”.He was here to canvass for party candidates contesting the Amloh civic elections.

Sampla demanded an inquiry by a sitting high court judge in the cases registered against the SAD-BJP leaders and workers. He said: “By rejecting the nomination papers of Opposition candidates, the government has already conceded its defeat. We have already met the Governor and complained against the atrocities committed by the Congress government against our activists.”
