Brampton, Mississauga Liberal Party Candidate announced for Ontario 2020 Provincial Elections

Ontario Liberal Party leader Steven Del Duca has appointed two new candidates for the next provincial election.

Marilyn Raphael was appointed for the riding of Brampton South and Jill Promoli for Mississauga-Streetsville.

Raphael has more than 15 years of experience working in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in Ontario, said Del Duca. She is currently a vice-president at TD Asset Management, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Raphael has been a Brampton resident for the past 10 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in science from McMaster University, a master’s degree in public health from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree in business administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Promoli is a small-business owner and mother of three who became a flu prevention advocate after the sudden death of one of her twin boys in 2016.

She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wilfrid Laurier University. After teaching in Korea and working in Toronto, Promoli now lives in Mississauga.

The next Ontario general election will be held on or before June 2, 2022, according to Elections Ontario.
