Punjab Governor congratulates Punjab Police for solving Brig. Jagdish Gagneja murder case

CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 8: The Punjab Governor and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Mr. V.P.Singh Badnore today placed on record his appreciation to the Punjab Police for having solved the sensational Brig. Jagdish Gagneja murder case along with many others with the arrest of four persons.

In a statement issued here today, Mr. Badnore said that the purpose of the inimical forces to destabilise the unity and integrity of our country has been defeated by the brave Police Force.

While complementing the Police department Punjab, the Governor said that the police force has performed its duties effectively with utmost sincerity and dedication thereby restoring the confidence of the public.

He also said that the Police force has always withstood the toughest challenges of time and is known for its bravery and sacrifice.

Applauding, the state police force, the Governor said that the teams of the officers involved in breaking these murders should be adequately rewarded and a word of appreciation should be included in their Annual Confidential Reports
