It was a star-studded night at the Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC), where the inaugural Punjabi Film Awards (PFA) were held last night Saturday.
Hosted by BritAsia TV alongside Metatron Global Fund, the awards are the first of their kind in the UK. The awards celebrated the best of Punjabi Film industry. Punjabi film lovers got the chance to vote for their favourite actors, actresses, directors.
While the winners were announced, artists like Sharry Mann, Sunanda Sharma and Satinder Sartaaj and Jasmine Sandlas, who was the host of the event, kept the audience tied to their seats.
The prestigious ICC hall was teeming with avid music and movie lovers. While the session began later than scheduled, host Jasmine Sandlas kicked off the awards ceremony in her inimitable style, singing some of her hits.
The Outstanding Achievement award went to Satinder Sartaaj, who also treated fans with his songs. His onstage appearance was a real highlight to PFA 2018 alongside the later performances of Sunanda Sharma and Sharry Mann.
