Chandigarh, April 16, 2018: Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh will meet party president Rahul Gandhi to discuss and finailise the list of congress MLAs to be inducted as ministers in the Punjab cabinet. CM himself today confirmed that he would go to Delhi to meet Rahul and the expansion of the ministry anytime this week.
It has been learnt that Punjab congress president Sunil Jakhar and in charge Punjab congress affairs Asha Kumari will also attend the proposed meeting.
Keeping in view the proposed expansion , Punjab Secretariat administration has also started preparations to welcome new ministers and around 9 rooms are being furnished to make these available for them.
According to Raj Bhawan sources, the state government orally asked Raj Bhawan officials about the availability of the Governor from April 19 to April 23. 2018. Keeping in view of the proposed expansion of the cabinet.
