Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur honors women entrepreneurs

Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development Punjab Dr. Baljit Kaur felicitated women entrepreneurs today at ‘The Inspiring Pillars’, Celebrating Women Achievements event at Hotel Wyndham, Mohali.

Addressing the event, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that society is incomplete without acknowledging the contribution of women. The purpose of this event was to instill courage and enthusiasm among women who are successfully achieving merits in various fields. The event so participation of working women and home makers whose have been less heard of but have carved a niche for themselves among the odd circumstances.

She said that today’s era is no longer a male-dominated era, but women are participating more and more in every field. In today’s era, every woman, whether she is doing any work at home or outside, every work she is doing is exemplary. She said that today’s era is an opportunity for women to develop in all directions. Women have all kinds of talent, every woman can become a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, whatever she wants. She said that women should come forward as much as possible and outshine.

On this occasion, at the end of the program, the women entrepreneurs and achievers of various high positions in different fields were Honored.

Jeevan Jot Kaur, MLA from Amritsar Constituency (East), Rajinder Pal Kaur, MLA from Ludhiana Constituency (South) was specially present during the event.
