Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur inaugurated sewing training center at village Chak Duhewala

Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur while inaugurating the free sewing training center opened by Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust at village Chak Duhewala of Malout Assembly Constituency to make girls and women self-reliant said that Punjab government will highly honor the girls doing business.

Cabinet Minister added that the Punjab government is making efforts to raise the social and economic level of women and many schemes are being run for the welfare of women.

She further said that the opening of this sewing training centre will greatly benefit the girls and women around this village.On this occasion, she also heard the problems of the villagers.

During her visit, the Cabinet Minister also inaugurated the RO for drinking clean water at Civil Hospital Malout which has been set up here with the support of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust.

Minister appealed to the social service organizations to come forward to help the needy while showing solidarity for the betterment of the society.

Apart from others, Karamjit Sharma Block President, Ramesh Arnivala, Tinka Garg, Rajnish Garg, Gurlal Singh, Gursevak Singh and dignitaries were present on this occasion.
