Case of girls being forced to do duty till mid night at the toll plaza

Punjab State Women Commission on Thursday sought a status report by July 31, 2020 from Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana and Police commissioner Ludhiana in a case of girls being forced to do duty till midnight at new toll plaza on Ludhiana-Chandigarh National Highway.

Seeking report by July 31, 2020, Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission Mrs. Manisha Gulati said that the matter had come to her notice through media reports and in her orders she directed the Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and Police commissioner Ludhiana to depute a senior officer for investigating the matter and send the status report through e-mail by July 31, 2020 so that further action on this case can be taken.
