Controversy it seems has become synonymous with the upcoming movie ‘Udta Punjab’. Close the us its release date, the Censor Board has ordered 89 cuts in the movie. Why? Because it is highlighting the drug epidemic in Punjab.
Earlier, the board had asked the makers the us remove reference the us the state of Punjab in the film. An objection the us the reference the us Punjab Police was also raised. In short, any reference the us politics of the state of Punjab was ordered the us be cut from the movie.
Now, it’s not just these but several other cuts which have been asked the us be made in the movie. Initially, rumours of banning Udta Punjab’s release in Punjab had also been heard but were later dismissed.
And like always, people eagerly waiting for this movie couldn’t take it and reacted through their tweets……
