Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) senior leader and MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan took a dig at SAD leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal about her recent comments on seized money from Channi’s relatives in ED raids. Harsimrat Kaur Badal had said that Chief Minister Charanjit Singh was running the sand mafia and has minted crores of rupees in his short tenure. Reacting to which, Kultar Singh Sandhwan said, “Charanjit Channi minted crores of rupees, but Harsimrat Badal is the one to talk. But, maybe that’s because he family is expert in the matter, since they’ve been doing the same for decades now.” He further added that Channi’s minted money is being exposed in ED raids but Harsimrat Kaur Badal should tell the people of Punjab that how many crores of rupees Badal family has minted while being in the power.
In a statement issued on Friday, AAP leader said that Badal family is the founder of every mafia in the state, sand mafia, drug mafia, transport mafia, cable mafia you name it and you will find Badal family’s association with it. He added that now when ED seized crores of rupees from CM Channi’s relatives, Harsimrat Badal’s reaction is comical, whole Punjab is aware of Badals’ corruption and mafia fuelled regime. He said that Badal family is the biggest patronage of every illegal activity in the state and they even helped Charanjit Singh Channi’s brother in Ludhiana City Centre Scam. He said that today the image and reputation of Badal family is so stained from the allegations of mafia, drugs, corruption and sacrilege that they have no moral ground left to question another politicians.
Reacting to Harsimrat Badal’s comment on Bhagwant Mann being rubber stamp, Kultar sandhwan said that Badal family sold the farmers and farming of our Punjab to Narendra Modi and BJP. Their family member Bikram Majithia is accused of drugs trafficking, Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Badal are being named in the reports of sacrilege and Behbal Kalan police firing, and here Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal has the audacity to call Bhagwant Mann a rubber stamp, who single handily raised the issue of farmers in the Parliament and who never backed down from raising any other issue pertaining to the people of Punjab. He said that Bhagwant Mann will keep working in the favour of the people and now that the people of Punjab are well aware of the corruption of Congress leaders, Captain Amarinder Singh and Badal family, they (Punjabis) would never trust these political parties and families again. Sandhwan claimed that Aam Aadmi Party will form government in Punjab in upcoming Punjab assembly elections and that government will be pro-people and corruption free.
