CM mourns passing of Moga-based veteran scribe’s wife

Chandigarh, December 31: Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Friday condoled the sad demise of Smt. Amarjit Kaur (85), the wife of Moga based veteran journalist Amar Singh, who died at Moga after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her husband and three daughters.

In a condolence message, CM Channi said, “I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Smt. Amarjit Kaur, who was the pillar of strength for her family and a source of inspiration behind the success of her husband Amar Singh, the noted journalist.”

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, CM Channi prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
