Complainant himself involved in criminal case against former MLA Amit Vij

Chandigarh / Pathankot : Complainant in Vigilance against Amit Vij, Treasurer of Punjab Congress and former MLA of Pathankot, himself is the owner of criminal instinct and arrested by Pathankot Police who is now out on bail.

Giving information in this context, Vij said that on the complaint of Mining Officer Abhishek Atri, FIR No. In 124, a case was registered against him under sections 419, 384, 341 and 120-B, in which it is clear that he used to make recovery by becoming a fake mining officer.

Amit Vij said that an attempt is being made to hatch a political conspiracy against him. He clearly said that Pathankot developed during his tenure which is not tolerated by the opponents and now attempts are being made to defame him by complaining. He said that during his tenure, development works were done only in the committee formed under the supervision of competent officers.
He clarified that he did not have any office of profit portfolio. He only performed his duty as a public representative.
He said that till now Vigilance has not called him.
But if there will be any investigation, they will fully cooperate in it. He said that the way the media campaign was launched against him on the complaint of a criminal, it clearly shows the mentality of the people of the ruling party.

According to Amit Vij, they also have all the documents against the complainant and they will soon file a defamation claim against him. He appealed to the media to print something based on the facts.
