Congress gets huge boost in Barnala

The Congress party today got a huge boost in Barnala when influenced by the visionary ideology and development oriented policies of senior Congress leader and Ex-MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon, more than five dozen doyens (including BJP leaders) of several reputed institutions, associations and business community of the city came into the Congress fold.

Notably, it was the clear stand taken by the Congress party under inspirational leadership of Mr. Dhillon in favour of the farmers and witnessing the anti-farner stance of their own party’s government at the Centre that acted as a trigger for the BJP stalwarts to undergo change of heart and join Congress. The heads of other institutions decided to join the Congress party after witnessing the radical transformation of the Barnala city. All the leaders vowed to toil hard day and night to ensure the victory of Kewal Singh Dhillon in the upcoming Assembly polls so as to make him Minister in the next Congress government which would further put the Barnala city on the upward trajectory.

In a simple but impressive function here, Kewal Singh Dhillon welcomed all the leaders joining the Congress and assured them of full respect and dignity in the party. The Congress leader further said that he believes in carrying every section of the society along to make sure that the overall development of Barnala is carried out sans any hiccups. “The Congress is wholeheartedly committed to the development of Punjab to the optimum level and making Barnala numero uno District is a part of the grand strategy.

On the occasion, on behalf of the new joinees, Councillor Narinder Garg Neeta, Mandal President BJP Yashpal Garg, President BC Cell BJP Harman Singh, Former President Yuva March Dimple Kansal, Secretary Barnala Welfare Club Vijay Gupta, President Property Dealer Association and Ex-General Secretary of BJP Mandal Rakesh Goel, Former President District Chemist Association Rakesh Kumar, and President District Bar Council Pankaj Bansal addressed the gathering and pledged for ensuring development of Barnala on all parameters besides leaving no Stone unturned to take forward the development centric agenda of Mr. Dhillon. The leaders said that the Congress Government has done remarkable work for the benefit of business and industry.
