The upcoming Lok Sabha by-election in Jalandhar is turning into a nightmare for the Congress. Today again Congress suffered a big blow when many of their party office bearers, councilors along with Congress leader Rana Gurjit’s nephew Hardeep Singh Rana joined the AAP family in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. On this occasion, General Secretary of AAP Punjab Harchand Singh Barsat, party candidate from Jalandhar Shushil Kumar Rinku were also present.
Welcoming all the leaders to the AAP family, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the remaining base of the Congress in Jalandhar has also been cleared after Hardeep Singh Rana and his hundreds of supporters joined the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that everyone is happy with the pro-people policies of the AAP government and soon the people of Jalandhar will elect Sushil Kumar Rinku as their voice in the Lok Sabha.
Hardeep Rana is a progressive farmer of his area. His father Rana Mahendrajit was also a successful politician. Hardeep Rana has also aided to his uncle Rana Gurjit in climbing the steps of the Vidhan Sabha. Not only that, Hardeep Rana, who was a part of the Shahkot Congress Working Committee, also worked tirelessly during the last four Lok Sabha elections. People of Jalandhar respect him as an honest leader.
