Congress MLAs rain firepower on Capt’s and Raghav Chaddha for clean chit to Majitha

Date:

Chandigarh, December 22:

Taking strong notice of ex Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and AAP leader Raghav Chaddha giving open statements in favour of the Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia, the Congress MLAs have launched a scathing attack on both and averred that the two seemed to be more eager than even akalis to give clean chit which clearly establishes the truck Captain Amarinder Singh has with the akalis and AAP is the ‘B’ team of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).

In a joint press communiqué, the Working President of the PPCC and MLA Kuljit Singh Nagra, MLAs Darshan Singh Brar, Kulbir Singh Zira, Barindermeet Singh Pahra, Davinder Singh Ghubaya and Pritam Singh Kotbhai said that Captain Amarinder Singh has made it explicit that he was hand in glove with the SAD and during his 4.5 years tenure he maintained his closeness with the akalis thus shielding Majithia from the reach of law. Now, when the case is registered against Majithia in drugs case then Captain Amarinder Singh has come out in open support of the former.

Castigating Raghav Chaddha, the Congress MLAs said that he has exceeded even his party supremo Arvind Kejriwal by being one step ahead of him because kejriwal had apologized to majithia but Raghav Chaddha donned the role of SAD Spokesperson and issued a statement in favour of majithia. “The Aam Aadmi Party must answer as to whether it is doling out clean chit to the SAD for perpetrating 10 years of mafia rule and drugs”, said the Congress MLAs adding the AAP has exposed itself as the ‘B’ team of the SAD which has become an open secret now.

Divulging further, the MLAs mentioned that the people of Punjab have seen the unmasked faces of both the sides and would give a befitting reply to both AAP and Captain Amarinder Singh in the ensuing assembly polls.
