Congress MLAs slams Sukhbir Badal for leveling baseless allegations against Pargat Singh

Date:

Chandigarh, December 5: Reacting sharply on allegations of recruitment scam, Congress MLAs on Sunday slammed SAD President Sukhbir Badal and termed him ‘lootera’ of Punjab, who had duped the people of the state during his 10 years tenure.

Issuing a joint statement, Congress MLAs Kuljit Singh Nagra, Barindermeet Singh Pahra, Kulbir Singh Zira, and Amit Vij, said, that Sukhbir has no moral values to question the integrity of Punjab education minister S. Pargat Singh who has been working day and night to bring reform into the education system.

“Badals had looted Punjab for years and during their 15 years rule in the past two decades, they had not recruited even a single professor,” they added.

MLAs said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, the Education minister is recruiting 1,091 assistant professors after 25 years in a transparent manner but rather than welcoming this ‘revolutionary’ move, Badal is leveling baseless accusations.

“Unlike the Badals, Pargat ji did not own any transport, sand mine, or hotel. How could Sukhbir even dare to raise a finger on the Education minister’s character? Badals have ruined the future of Punjab by shielding drug peddlers and mafia. Punjabis will never forget their sins and they have to pay the price,” they said in a joint statement.
