Congress will soon announce party’s CM face in Punjab: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said the party will take a decision on who will be the chief minister face in Punjab. “We will discuss this with our workers,” Rahul Gandhi said while addressing the ‘Punjab Fateh’ virtual rally at Jalandhar’s Mithapur.

Rahul said both PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and CM Charanjit Singh Channi discussed the issue of CM face with him on the way.

“Both are of the opinion that two cannot lead and both assured me that they will help whoever is named,” the Congress leader said.

Talking to decentralisation, Rahul said, “Sarkar Aapke Dwar programme will ensure 160 services via single window system.”

He said there should be a dedicated manifesto for the women of Punjab.
