Nawanshahr, April 23 , 2018: Baba Budh Singh Dhahan (93) founder of Guru Nanak Mission International Charitable Trust, Kulpur-Nawangran will be cremated at his native village Dhahan on April 24.
The prominent social worker fondly known as Baba Ji had passed away after a brief illness on April 20.
At a meeting of the Trust chaired by Bibi Sushil Kaur finalised details of the cremation ceremony. The executive members of the Trust, including, Mohinder Singh Bhatia, Deepak Bali, Raghbir Singh, Balbir Singh Bains, were present at the meeting, informed Raghbir Singh, Chief Administrator of the Trust.
It was decided that the mortal remains of Babaji would be brought at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, Kukkar Mazara, situated at Garhshanker – Anadpur Sahib highway at 9 am on April 24 and kept there from till 11.30 am so that the people can have ‘antim darshan’ and pay tributes to Baba ji.
Afterwards, the mortal remains will be taken to his native village Dhahan Kaleran, situated at Chandigarh- Jalandhar highway, in a big funeral procession.
The cremation will take place at 1 pm at village Dhahan.
Notably, the son of Baba Ji is a well-known Canada-based businessman and philanthropist.
