CRPF jawan injured in militant attack in J&K’s Pulwama

Srinagar, September 18: A CRPF jawan was injured in a militant attack on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, a police official said.

Militants opened fire on personnel at the Central Reserve Police Force camp at Newa in Pulwama, the official said.

The injured had been identified as Moyeen Khan, he said.

The area had been cordoned off as other security agencies, including the Army, had joined the operation to track down the militants, the official said.
