Deadline for receiving applications for National Awards extended

The last date for receiving applications for National Awards for the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is extended tell October 31, 2020.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that earlier the last date for receipt of applications was October 15. This decision has been taken to facilitate those teachers who have missed out to send online applications, can apply for this award. These awards are being given to the teachers for using the information and communication technology (ICT) in Education. For the awards of years 2018 and 2019 teachers can apply online. According to the spokesperson, ICT awards are given to teachers for motivating them to use the ICT in education. These awards are given by the Government of India under the ICT@school scheme.
