Death toll rises to three in Ludhiana LPG cylinder blast

Ludhiana, April 27, 2018: The death toll in Ludhiana’s LPG cylinder blast has risen to with two more victims including a child and a woman succumbing to serious burn injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Raj (14) breathed his last at CMC Hospital, whereas Shashi Singh (36) passed away at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital here, said ADCP-I, Gurpreet Singh Sikand.

Total 34 persons including four children were injured in the blast which had taken place in densely populated Samrat Colony in Giaspura area predominantly inhabited by Ludhiana’s migrant industrial labour.
