Chandigarh, February 19: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab president and chief ministerial candidate, Bhagwant Mann, appealed to the people to vote freely. Bhagwant Mann asked people to vote without being misled, any pressure and greed. Bhagwant Mann said that ‘Matdan’ means choosing with your own intellect. Therefore, vote wisely to strengthen Punjab and the country’s democracy.
On Saturday, Bhagwant Mann issued a video while appealing to the people of Punjab, said that we have earned our democratic right to vote because of the sacrifices of martyrs like Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Kartar Singh Sarabha. So take these elections seriously and vote at any cost. With your vote you will honour our martyrs and freedom fighters.
Bhagwant Mann said that people should motivate their family members, relatives and close friends to vote and make sure the vote of elderly people in your homes. He encouraged people to vote in large numbers to set a new record in India of highest voting percent.
