Dr. Baljit Kaur urged Suggestions from NGOs for Women Empowerment Policy

Punjab State Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur appealed to women empowerment NGOs in Punjab to provide suggestions for the policy on women’s empowerment.

Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that a new policy is being developed to ensure the proper design and implementation of plans and programs being carried out by the Punjab government for women in the state. She mentioned that the Punjab State Women’s Policy has been formulated with the help of leading women thinkers, activists, and experts.

The minister further urged organizations, NGOs, and individuals working towards the welfare of women in the state to send their suggestions to the email IDs: dsswcd@punjab.gov.in, srewpunjab@gmail.com, and office Directorate of Social Security and Women and Child Development Department, Punjab, SCO No: 102-103, Sector-34A, Chandigarh, until April 30th, 2023.
