Dr. Ranjit Singh Ghotra joins as Director Health Services (Family Welfare) in Department of Health and Family Welfare Punjab

Chandigarh: Dr. Ranjit Singh Ghotra who was previously posted as Civil Surgeon Jalandhar has been posted as new Director Health Services (Family Welfare) and he joined on his new posting today. Immediately after joining his new posting Dr. Ghotra thanked Punjab government and Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann for showing faith in him and assured to perform his duty efficiently and with honesty. He assured to take every possible step needed to be taken for providing quality healthcare services to the people of Punjab.

Dr. Ghotra joined as Medical Officer in Health Department in the year 1991, in the year 1997 he completed his MD in paediatrics from Government Medical College Patiala. He was promoted as Senior Medical Officer in 2015 and in January 2021 he was promoted as Deputy Director and was posted as Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur. Since October 2021 he was performing his duties as Civil Surgeon Jalandhar.
After joining here as Director Health Services (FW) Dr. Ghotra stated that he considers all health staff as his family and he exhorted them to work diligently and honestly for the welfare of the people of Punjab.
