Educational competitions dedicated to the 400th Parkash Purb of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji -Poster Making Competition commenced

The Punjab School Education Department has started poster making competitions as a part of the series of educational competitions dedicated to the 400th Parkash Purb of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. This is the sixth competition in this series and five contests have been completed so far.

According to a spokesperson of the school education department, the poster making competitions have started today on September 14 and will continue till September 19. Students participating in these competitions can upload their posters on various social media platforms till 24 PM (mid night) on September 19. According to the spokesperson, shabd gyan, song, poetry, speech, playing musical instruments (harmonium, tabla, dholak, fiddle, dhadd) competitions have been completed. More than forty thousand school children participated in the field of poetry recitation and a large number of students are also expected to participate in the poster making competitions.

The competitions started on July 6 and will continue till December 21, 2020. After the poster making competitions, painting, slogan writing, calligraphy, P.P.T. making and dastarbandi will be left. These competitions relate only to the life, philosophy, teachings, Bani and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Only government school students are participating in these competitions. All the competitions are being conducted at primary, middle and secondary levels.
