Every section of society to be given their due during auction of Panchayat lands as per law: Kuldeep Dhaliwal

Chandigarh, May 4: Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has made it clear that the Punjab government in the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed for the overall development of the state without any caste or religious discrimination.

He said that the auction of Panchayat lands would be ensured without any discrimination and every caste / class would be given their due as per rules and law. He also directed all the officers of the department to conduct the open auction of the Panchayat lands as per the rules and videography must be ensured of all auctions.

Condemning the news published by a section of the media today, Kuldeep Dhaliwal said that media persons should refrain from publishing such baseless news so that there are no misunderstandings among various sections of the society regarding government schemes. He also urged the people to refrain from such misleading propaganda. At the same time he reiterated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann would stand firm for the welfare and betterment of all sections and give due benefits and rights to all as per law.
