Chandigarh, February 13
Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Punjab chief ministerial candidate and Punjab President Bhagwant Mann, on Sunday, campaigned in three assembly constituencies of Gurdaspur. Here he campaigned for AAP candidates, Sherry Kalsi from Batala, Jagroop Singh Sekhwan from Qadian and Advocate Amarpal Singh from Sri Hargobindpur. He appealed to the people to hit the button of Jharoo (AAP party symbol broom) to form Aam Aadmi Party government.
People welcomed Bhagwant Mann enthusiastically and were eager to hear his thoughts. Addressing the people, Mann said that February 20th is the day to change the fortunes of Punjab. This day is the day to get rid of corruption and mafia. It is a day to save the youth and agriculture of Punjab and save the future of our children. Mann appealed to the people to vote to save Punjab on February 20th without being misled by anyone.
Mann said that the people of Punjab were giving opportunities to Akali-BJP and Congress for the last 50 years. This time, the people of Punjab will not be deceived. Earlier people did not any alternative and better option, so they used to vote for Congress after getting fed up with Akali-BJP and vice versa. Both the parties looted Punjab but amassed properties and money in their homes. This time people have got a good and honest alternative in the form of Aam Aadmi Party. This time people will vote for the change to get rid of the Congressmen and Akalis.
Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party will fully live up to the hopes and expectations of the people of Punjab. The AAP government will be the government of the common people. We will solve the problems of the common people and bring them back to prosperity. We will save the youth, farmers and traders of Punjab. Provide good education and employment to the youth. AAP government will give fair price to the farmers on their crops and increase the production of crops with new scientific techniques. To end the problems of the business class, Gunda Raj and Inspector Raj will be completely abolished. A stable and honest government is needed for the development of Punjab. Just give AAP one chance and AAP governmnet will not disappoint you.
